Nguyen grew up in Meriden. Her mother is Kimanh Vu and her father is Do Nguyen. She has a brother who is 21.
Nguyen attended Thomas Hooker Elementary Faculty and Thomas Edison Middle Faculty. She recalled when she was in fifth grade that an educator, who was not her instructor, manufactured a prediction.
“She generally informed me that I would be valedictorian,” Nguyen mentioned. But as a fifth quality university student, she was not so guaranteed.
The same educator attended Maloney’s modern Leading 10 college student supper. “She handed me a note that I gave her from fifth quality, the place I wrote, ‘thank you.’”
