Technology Impact Awards highlight innovative companies in British Columbia

The 29th annual Technological innovation Influence Awards (TIAs) set a new document, with 48 finalists and 12 winners introduced.

Held last 7 days at the Vancouver Conference Centre, the TIA award for the “Company of the 12 months – Startup” went to VodaSafe, which delivers underwater scanning engineering used to assist find drowning victims. VodaSafe went residence with C$10,000 from BC Tech to grow their organization and C$4,000 in PR aid co-funded by BC Tech and Switchboard PR.

HTEC, a Vancouver-based corporation, was honoured for their commitment to unlocking the potential of hydrogen to minimize air pollution and the impacts of local weather modify. They ended up introduced the award for “GameChanger in Weather Leadership”. Other awards of the night time incorporated the “Spirit of BC Tech Ambition” and “Excellence in Corporation Culture” awards, which have been both of those offered to Dapper Labs. The corporation gives blockchain based mostly gaming encounters and electronic collectibles.

The “Diversity and Inclusion” award went to Hootsuite, and the “Excellence in Technologies Innovation” award went to Vancouver Airport Authority

There have been 4 other “Company of the Year” awards presented, highlighting “Growth”, “Export”, “Scale”, and “Anchor”.

These awards went to AOT Technologies, Highly developed Cyclotron Systems, Redlen Technologies, and GeoComply respectively.
